Terry E. Del Percio 

Terry Del Percio is Principal and Founder of The Work Strategies Company. With over twenty years experience in personal change processes, leadership development, executive coaching and career management consultation, Terry utilizes a very customized approach, believing that each individual and organization is unique in their current dynamics and contextual framework.

There are many facets to the process of career management and leadership coaching. Terry works with each individual to determine what areas of focus make sense for their particular situation. Some people choose only to work on isolated issues or actions, while others choose to take a more strategic approach and for them a more comprehensive planning and implementation process is utilized. Terry is recognized for her ability to identify and reshape language and communication obstacles that are often very subtle, but which have a tremendous impact on an individual's ability to market themselves, establish credibility as a leader and/or create positive change. Communications and self-marketing issues arise for those who have the need to redirect their career and also for those managers and executives that want to be more successful in their current roles. Terry takes a systemic approach to problems, working within the framework of the interplay of human and organizational dynamics. She works at multiple levels concurrently, digging underneath the surface for root issues while also engaging a practical approach to assist clients in moving forward.

As previous Director within various organizations, Terry has experienced the corporate environment first-hand, initially with very large companies and subsequently with a management consulting firm for six years. She has worked with clients from a broad spectrum of industries including Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, High Tech, Publishing, Higher Education, Marketing and Consulting. Terry spent several years designing and implementing numerous team interventions that spoke to the issues of continuous change and emotional intelligence. Building a community of work that holds and models deep values in regards to mutual respect, self-awareness and innovative thinking is a fundamental cornerstone of her consulting work. Other areas of emphasis include mentoring and coaching managers positioned for rapid growth, the subtleties and power of effective communications, and the process of mid-life career transition.

Holding a Masters of Science degree in Training and Development, Terry launched The Work Strategies Company in 1993. Undergraduate and post graduate work in psychology and counseling was completed in New York at Stony Brook University. She continues to work with individuals and leaders on many levels, helping them create a holistic integration of work and life choices and practices. She is a certified administrator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Enneagram, and has used these tools extensively, providing valuable insights into how individuals and teams can function more effectively.

Throughout her career, Terry also has periodically held Adjunct Professor roles at Emmanuel College and Endicott College, teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in Gender Issues, Leadership and Change, Human Resources Strategy and The Rise of Rock and Roll.
